Triangles, Diamonds, and Squares... Oh My!

Triangles, Diamonds, and Squares...Oh My! By Grace Akhrem. This pattern is so versatile- once you knit all the squares you can choose any layout you want. Make more squares for a larger blanket and fewer for a smaller one.

Gauge: 20 sts & 40 rows = 4” in garter stitch (*Note: Gauge is not too important in this pattern.)

Sizes:  Sizes for this pattern vary depending on the gauge of your yarn and needle size you choose. Do not limit yourself by size; expand and explore your options one square at a time.

Finished Measurements: Sample shown measures 30” x 30”

Materials Used: approximately 20 yards for half a square (*Note: If you wish to make two colored squares you will need approximately +/-20 yards of each color for every square you would like to make. Yardage will vary depending on your gauge and the number of stitches you choose to cast on for this pattern.)

Needle Size: 5 US (3.75 mm) needles (or size needed to obtain gauge); 4 US (3.5 mm) 60” circular needles (or longer if you are making a larger blanket)
